I’m Javi Guembe, and I’m leading this project, born out of a need. I have been a part of the WordPress community for more than 10 years and have attended over 20 WordCamps and Meetups.
During WordCamp Europe 2023, I talked with various people and noticed a need for a platform that connects individuals who want to practice languages with each other, and what’s better than having these individuals be a part of the WordPress Community, don’t you agree?
Moreover, this method does not replace or substitute academic language training; it reinforces and complements it.
In my case, I’m very interested in practicing English and sharing my native language experience with someone so they can practice Spanish. I have been learning English since school, and in my experience, once you master the basic grammar of a language, conversation is the most important thing to strengthen and learn it.
A community that communicates better through language practice is a stronger community.
